Counseling approach

My approach is simple. It is to treat each person as a unique individual, capable of discovering and facilitating their own pathway forward to recovery. I will work alongside each client to help guide this process, believing that the therapeutic relationship is a central aspect of healing and insight. I work from a strengths-based approach, also utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy modalities. In this relationship we will work to establish goals, improve communication, strengthen relationships, and reduce unhealthy behaviors. I work with adults, adolescents, parents, and families to achieve wellness and restore balance.

I have extensive experience in working with adults, adolescents, and their families across multiple treatment settings and modalities. I have experience in individual, family, and group therapy, as well as parent coaching and meal support. I utilize a team-based approach, working within the family system, as well as with other treatment providers, to provide a broad spectrum of care.
